Become a FOWB Volunteer:

Member or not, your time and energy are a valuable resource! Folks have participated in various ways and all of them have made a difference!  Examples of volunteer involvement include organizing and staffing events, helping survey and poll the community, assisting with Trash Bashes, testing water quality, designing graphic work, building the website, digitizing records, writing copy material, compiling data, walking in parades... the list is long and limited only by imagination.  If you love the Bay and can spare a moment to help, we'd love to connect.

Become a Board Member:

Leadership is an Action, not a Position! If you would like to nominate yourself or someone you know, please let us know. We'd be happy to introduce you to the membership.  You're also welcome to nominate someone at the AGM.
Board Positions include:
  • Chair
  • Vice Chair
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • a maximum of five (5) Directors
