Whether you are a Friends of Wellers Bay member, local resident, cottage owner or visitor, welcome to our website! Below are some frequently asked question about us and the incredible area we are working to enhance and protect.

Where is Wellers Bay?

Wellers Bay is south of Trenton, Quinte West, Ontario Canada and east of Brighton and Presquile Provincial Park.  It is both in Quinte West on the north and in the northwest corner of Prince Edward County.  The Bay is hour-glass shaped and about 8 kilometers long, bounded by farm and residential land on the north, east and south and lovely sand beaches facing Lake Ontario on the west. A limestone promontory called Bald Head stands in the middle of the long sand beaches. The quaint hamlet of Consecon is situated at the south-eastern corner.

What is there to do?

The area is a mix of farms, year-round homes, seasonal cottages, campgrounds and marinas. Residents and visitors enjoy fishing, water-skiing, sailing, boating and the beaches in the summer and snowmobiling and ice-fishing in the winter. Check out our Sponsors for more local activities, goods, services and lodging.

What is mandate for Friends of Wellers Bay?

The Friends of Wellers Bay Association is a not-for-profit organization that works toward maintaining the health of the Bay with the help of its members.
